Thankful Thursdays

Today I am thankful for my families that are finally here for Thanksgiving! We always cherish the times we spend together because they both live in Oklahoma and Boston!

This is a picture of my family from Oklahoma( I wanted to post one of my family from Boston but i couldn't find a picture). I have to admitt...it's not the most flattering picture of all of us but what are ya gonna do? ;)
I'll be posting some more pictures later! Have a great rest of your week!

Random Blessings

Oh my goodness! I am so sorry everybody for not posting in a while!!! GUILTY
This is just a quick update...
1. The Neumann household has been quite busy the last week with my mom just getting back from the hospital on Sunday. Speaking of that...

2. My moms surgery went very smoothly! We are thanking the LORD for that, His mercies are are new every morning!

3. We are having a big family reunion the next week and a half :) Our families from Boston and Oklahoma are coming up for Thanksgiving! I am so excited, I'm doing a happy dance in my head right now ;)

4. I love cute little pumpkins!
 5. I also love old fashion shoots! The one in the big flowy dress is one of my best friends and cousin Lindsay!  These are both Bridesmaids dresses; Lindsay's was from our Aunt Sara's wedding and mine was from my moms :) We had a lot of fun with this...heehee
6. I've made it to 10 followers!...another happy dance :)

P.S. By the way I won the photo challenge! :)

Just a word of encouragement until we meet again:
Be content with what you have, because God has said,
"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
So we say with confidence, "The LORD is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man to to me?"

Just one way of saying I love you

Gracie is one of my best friends. Even though we're almost 5 years apart she's always ready to sit down and listen to one of my long, detailed, dramatic rambles about, well...life. ;)  I remember when I was 4 I kept praying for a little sister, and God sure provided. Don't get me wrong we have our moments; the bickering, ignoring, eye rolling moments. But I can always count on Gracie to be there as a sister, and I hope that I can do the same too! So Gracie, this is "just one way of saying I love you!"

Here are some of the things I love about Gracie:
1. Her talent for dancing. Gracie's dream is to become a professional dancer, and she sure has the build for it!
2.Her one of a kind personality. Gracie has a well balanced disposition. She can be wild and crazy one minute, and then laid back and quiet the next.
3.Her love for animals. Just a few weeks ago I was feeding the chickens. And one of them didn't know the meaning of cooperation, soooo... I got a little upset with it. Guilty! Here is the conversation Gracie and I had,
Gracie:"Ella, don't say that to the chicken. You could hurt it's feelings!"
Me: "Gracie...it's a chicken. It doesn't even know!"
Gracie:"You don't know that. I like to imagine that they can understand what we say...but they just can't talk back."
4.Her love for the people around her.  If I'm ever feeling a little down during the day, Gracie's always one to cheer me up. She'll either do one of her goofy dances and/or make a funny face. Or even make me a cup of tea. She sure is a sweet heart, and I love her for it!:)

There are hundreds of more things I could come up with, but I don't think we've got the time for that :)  Have a wonderful day!

Photo Shoots and Friendship

This is my cousin Lindsay, she lives right next door.
I personally ADORE this one! :)

This one really just shows her personality, I think it's so cute... luv ya Lindie

Lindsay took this one in a tree :) I love how the leaves are blurred and everything else is focused

Cousins forever... we had the camera on a timer btw

This is how we usually act! It's a little embarrassing...

It's so nice to have really good friends that you can be yourself with isn't it! We do some pretty crazy stuff together but hey, that's what friends are for!

And something that's even more nice is that we can have an even BETTER relationship with Jesus Christ! He's always going to be there for us cause he has chosen US! Think about that with me if you would... the Lord Our God( with really means; the Promise keeping, powerful God...I learned that last Sunday :)) wants to be our best friend! It's pretty hard to believe but it's true!

I'm doing this devotional by Beth Moore( I love her). It's called "The Promise of Security". The chapter today was talking about how God has chosen us and that we never have to question that. If he has called us He is NEVER going to change His mind! And personally that really hit me, hopefully it will for you too!

Have a GREAT day!
